We are gathering the people we love most in the hills of the Valpolicella for the first weekend of July. For those already arriving on Friday, there will be a welcome dinner at the villa; the ceremony and celebration follow on Saturday. Save the date, and tell us you'll be there — everything else follows with the invitation.
A summer residence since the Renaissance
Villa Giona was raised at the end of the Quattrocento on the Castelrotto hill — first a fortress house guarding the estate, later the summer residence of a Veronese family. Today its Italian garden of statues, fountains and clipped hedges sits alone among the Valpolicella vineyards, ten kilometres from Verona and half an hour from Lake Garda.

Verona Villafranca (VRN) is the closest airport, about 30 minutes from the villa; Milan Bergamo (BGY) and Venice (VCE) are around 1½ hours away.
Trains run to Verona Porta Nuova; from there it is a 20-minute taxi to the villa.
The villa sits just off the A4 / A22 (exit Verona Nord) — about 4½ hours' drive from Zurich.
